Access Analytics Dashboard (Managers Only)

Who can view analytics

Only MANAGERS and HEAD_MANAGERS can access the analytics dashboard.

  • Employees cannot access analytics
  • Managers see data for employees they manage
  • Data is filtered by your location permissions

Go to Analytics page

In the left sidebar, click "Analytics"

  • Page title: "Elite Analytics Dashboard"
  • Shows real-time performance metrics
  • Updates when you change timeframe

Select timeframe

Choose Week, Month, or Quarter at the top.

  • Week: Current Sunday to Saturday
  • Month: First day to last day of current month
  • Quarter: Current 3-month quarter (Q1-Q4)
  • Date range displays below timeframe buttons

View Overview Metrics

Total Employees

Blue card shows active employee count.

  • Only counts active EMPLOYEE role users
  • Excludes managers from employee metrics
  • Filtered by employees you manage

Coverage Rate

Green card shows shift coverage percentage.

  • Formula: (Fully covered shifts / Total shifts) × 100
  • Shift is "fully covered" when assigned count ≥ required count
  • Updates based on selected timeframe

Total Shifts

Purple card shows shifts in selected timeframe.

  • Only counts PUBLISHED shifts
  • Excludes DRAFT shifts
  • Filtered by your location permissions

Attendance Rate

Orange card shows attendance percentage.

  • Formula: (Clock-ins matching shift dates / Total shifts) × 100
  • Matches clock entries to shift dates
  • Shows reliability of employees showing up

Coverage Analysis

Shows current coverage with trend indicator.

  • Current coverage percentage
  • Trend: "positive" if ≥80%, else "negative"
  • Number of coverage gaps (unfilled shifts)

Performance Insights

Average performance across all employees.

  • Average performance score
  • Top performer name displayed
  • Number of employees needing improvement

Attendance Insights

Real-time attendance tracking.

  • Overall attendance rate
  • Count of employees not clocked in today
  • Trend indicator (positive/needs_attention)

Smart Recommendations

AI generates 3 recommendations based on your data.

  • Coverage recommendations (e.g., "Coverage below 80% - consider hiring")
  • Attendance alerts (e.g., "5 employees need attendance improvement")
  • Request processing reminders (e.g., "3 time-off requests need review")

  • Sorted by performance score (highest first)
  • Shows employee initials in colored badge
  • Displays shift count and performance percentage

Performance calculation

How performance scores are calculated.

  • Formula: (Attendance rate + Clock-in activity) / 2
  • Capped at 100% maximum
  • Updates based on selected timeframe
